Good brickwork gives a garden structure. We build garden walls, front boundary walls, retaining walls for sloping gardens, raised beds and brick planters, and brick piers for gates, all on proper footings so they stay straight and true.
We match new brickwork to your house where we can, and we repair and repoint existing walls that have cracked, bowed or lost their mortar. Raised planters are one of our most requested jobs: they lift planting to a comfortable height, tidy up front gardens and pair well with patios and new planting.
For taller retaining walls holding back a lot of soil we'll talk through the design and drainage with you, because water pressure behind a wall is the most common reason they fail.

Often yes. Depending on the cause we'll repair, rebuild a section, or rebuild the wall on new footings.
Walls up to 1 metre next to a road, or 2 metres elsewhere, are usually permitted development. Listed buildings and conservation areas can differ, and we'll advise.
