Some trees are protected. If a tree has a Tree Preservation Order, you need the council's consent before work, and in a conservation area you must give the council six weeks' notice. Romsey town centre and much of Winchester are conservation areas. We'll check with Test Valley Borough Council, Southampton City Council, Eastleigh Borough Council or Winchester City Council as needed before any work starts.
